Dignity Not Dependency

About Us

Wear Gloves exists to serve, teach, and advocate for the distressed with dignity, not dependency.

Since its establishment in 2009, Wear Gloves has positively influenced the lives of thousands through our innovative approach centered on dignity rather than dependency. We steadfastly believe in the inherent gifts and assets of every individual. Our mission is to empower others by affirming their worth and facilitating their transition into active, valued members of our community.

β€œWe dealt with tough questions like: Should I give a homeless person money? When is it appropriate to help a family with housing needs? Do I look down on anyone because of their position in society? When I give a distressed family money for food, what are the unintended consequences of that action? And, more importantly, do I care?”

- Ken and Wendy Kebrdle, Founders of Wear Gloves
