About Us

Wear Gloves exists to serve, teach, and advocate for the distressed with dignity, not dependency.

Since its establishment in 2009, Wear Gloves has positively influenced the lives of thousands through our innovative approach centered on dignity rather than dependency. We celebrate the unique strengths of every individual, empowering them to become active and valued community members through employment, workforce development, certifications, and life skills training

In order to support our client’s employment, we also provide shelter to those who need it and comprehensive support services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

β€œWe dealt with tough questions like: Should I give a homeless person money? When is it appropriate to help a family with housing needs? Do I look down on anyone because of their position in society? When I give a distressed family money for food, what are the unintended consequences of that action? And, more importantly, do I care?”

Founders of Wear Gloves
