Hands Together

"The LORD told Gideon, 'With these 300 men I will rescue you'" – Judges 7:7

At Wear Gloves, we believe transformation happens when hands come together. In prayer, in work, in partnership, and in purpose.

This summer, we’re feeling that unity in a powerful way. As we grow rapidly to meet urgent needs in our community, your partnership is helping us fill a gap that few others are addressing: providing dignity-based support, supportive transitional housing, and job readiness opportunities for individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and systemic barriers.

Wear Gloves offers structured support and long-term restoration. We walk with people who are ready to move forward but need a clear path, steady guidance, and a community that believes in them.

In just the past couple of months, we've seen:

  • Our first guests welcomed into the Dignity House, beginning their journey toward stability and healing.

  • We have a full-time therapist offering free mental health services Monday through Friday, thanks to our partnership with SMA Healthcare

  • Growth in our internal programs like job readiness training, beautification crews, and personal development coaching.

  • Deeper relationships with a few core partners who continue to provide meaningful opportunities, even during a slower season.

All of this is possible because of people like you, putting your hands together with ours.

Just as God used 300 willing men to do the impossible, we believe He is using our Gideon Army, the names of individuals, churches, businesses, and families who have given graciously to cover the core expenses that keep Wear Gloves going strong.

These 300 names aren’t just donors. They’re partners in our mission. Every name on that wall represents someone who believes that dignity can be restored, that lives can be rebuilt, and that God still works miracles with small numbers and big faith.

We still have room on the wall, and we would love for your name to be part of the story.

Even with all the growth, summer can be a hard season financially. Partnered work slows down. Donations dip. But the need doesn’t stop.

Here's how you can support us this month:

Every hand matters. And together, we are building a lasting resource in our community.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for believing in us. And thank you for keeping your hands, and your hearts, open.
