Introducing the Dignity House!

Housing, for many of us, is synonymous with security, stability, and a sense of belonging. It's where we unwind after a long day, pursue our passions, and build relationships.

Imagine not having a safe haven to return to each night, instead grappling with the harsh realities of the streets. The absence of shelter exposes individuals to the elements, posing not only physical dangers but also taking a toll on mental well-being. It's a constant battle against uncertainty and fear, with little respite.

For our clients that are housed, we see greater growth and advancement. Our housed clients have bigger goals and dreams, better opportunity for stable employment, more capacity for pursuing education and greater ability to contribute to their community.

As we confront the dichotomy between housing and homelessness, it is imperative to recognize the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, irrespective of their housing status.  With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that Wear Gloves has purchased a home to be used as transitional housing for some of our most vulnerable unhoused clients!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We hope to get 3 ladies moved in the next couple of weeks! Thanks to a generous donation from Pay It Forward Ministries we have all the basic furniture we need! We need a new water heater right away, a security system, new locks, and repairs to the HV/AC soon. The home will also need blinds and curtains and pots and pans and trash cans......and ALL THE THINGS you would need to set up a brand new home.

Instead of donating household items please consider a monetary donation. Your gift will allow us to prioritize necessary repairs and updates and purchase household items most useful for our clients.
