You may have heard the news that Wear Gloves has officially become the proud owner of a new shelter in Marion County. We are thrilled and incredibly grateful for this opportunity to expand our mission to better serve our community.
We are committed to making a major impact in our community. Our mission is to equip individuals with the tools they need to advance and thrive. Through support, training, and a sense of community, we empower people to regain their dignity, develop new skills, recover from trauma, and pursue lasting opportunities to thrive.
But none of this is possible without the support of people like you. With your help, we can welcome everyone who walks through our doors and provide them with the resources they need to rewrite their narratives and transform their lives.
That’s why we’re excited to announce our participation in Give4Marion, a 33-hour giving campaign starting Tuesday, September 17. This is a crucial opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Wear Gloves. The campaign includes matching moments, power hours, and other fundraising opportunities that will help amplify your impact. Our goal for this year’s Give4Marion is $50,000 and early giving starts today!
Every dollar raised helps Wear Gloves provide vital resources to those in need. In 2024, we are expanding our services to provide comprehensive housing assistance. Our Dignity House shelter will provide safe and stable housing alongside an environment where residents learn how to improve their lives with dignity, not dependency.
