Wear Gloves Turns 15!

This month Wear Gloves celebrates a remarkable milestone—15 years of service, commitment, and positive change! This is an achievement that relatively few non-profits reach, with studies showing that only about 12% of non-profits last beyond the first decade. Our journey to this point reflects the strength of our mission and the incredible dedication of our board, volunteers, and supporters.

Together, we’ve built an organization rooted in sustainability and dignity, empowering individuals to work for what they need and fostering resilience and self-worth in those we serve.

From day one, our “dignity, not dependency” model has been at the heart of everything we do, and it’s made all the difference. This approach has not only helped us create a long-lasting impact but has also built a strong foundation for growth and stability. 

Our board members bring vision and commitment, while our volunteers—many of whom have been with us for years—dedicate their time and energy to every project, ensuring that we continue to move forward. 

As we look to the future, we are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make Wear Gloves what it is today, and we are excited to continue transforming lives together!
