Exciting Progress at the Dignity House Shelter

We are thrilled to share some incredible updates on our new Dignity House Shelter—a project made possible by the hard work of our team and our trusted partner, Benmar Construction. It’s only been three weeks since our permits were issued, and already so much has happened! 

What’s Been Accomplished So Far:

• Demolition completed 

• Many trees have been carefully removed 

• Repairs to the exterior soffits are underway 

• We’ve replaced all the old lighting with energy-efficient fixtures 

• New flooring is being installed 

• All damaged drywall has been expertly repaired 

• Interior walls have been freshly painted 

• Installation of new sinks and toilets is in progress 

And that’s just the beginning! We’re getting ready to set up individual rooms very soon, all designed to foster a sense of home and dignity for our future residents. 

LOOKING AHEAD:

We’re incredibly excited to welcome our first residents by this summer. Our mission is not just to provide shelter but to create an environment that supports growth, healing, and the brave journey toward independent living.
