Why We're Converting Our Cafe into a Dedicated Client Services Center

At Wear Gloves, our mission has always been to help people earn what they need with dignity, not dependency. Every decision we make is centered around that goal and, as our clients' needs evolve, so do we.

Expanding Our Coffee Roasting Operations

We’re excited to be able to expand our roasting capabilities to meet the growing demand for our high-quality, mission-driven coffee. This means even more opportunities for job training and employment—so every sip you enjoy continues to make a difference.

At the same time, we’re transforming our café into a space fully dedicated to Client Services.

Meeting a Greater Need

While the café has been a wonderful way to engage with the community, we’ve seen a growing need for a safe, private, and focused environment where our clients can access the resources and services they need. By repurposing this space, we will be able to offer:

  • Expanded job training to help individuals gain valuable skills for sustainable employment.

  • More private, one-on-one support for counseling, mentorship, and life skills coaching.

  • A welcoming, private space for clients to access essential services in a setting designed just for them.

Strengthening Our Mission

Our café has always been more than just a coffee shop—it’s been a place of hope, encouragement, and transformation. Repurposing this space allows us to fully dedicate it to uplifting those we serve, aligning more closely with our mission and increasing our impact.

Our café’s last day of operation will be February 28th, but you can still stop by to pick up your favorite Dignity Roasters coffee!

How You Can Support This Transition

Change can be difficult, and we are grateful for the support of our community as we take important steps forward. Here’s how you can help:

  • Spread the word about our expanded client services and encourage those in need to seek support.

  • Donate to help us fund renovations and resources for this new space.

  • Volunteer your time and skills to mentor, train, or support our clients as they work toward independence.

We believe that these changes will allow us to serve more people in a more meaningful way. Thank you for standing with us as we continue to provide dignity, hope, and opportunity for those who need it most.

Stay connected for updates on this transition—we’re excited for what’s ahead!
